Who we are
My Coach Kaj is a text message coaching service for women on, or coming off, a GLP-1 medication. My Coach Kaj is a business name of Next 10 Capital LLC, a Texas limited liability company. In this policy, "we" and "us" mean My Coach Kaj.
Questions about your information go to support@mycoachkaj.com.
Kaj is an AI coach
Kaj is artificial intelligence, not a person. Kaj writes each reply using an AI model. Your messages are sent to that model so Kaj can answer you. The more you share, the better Kaj knows you, and the better Kaj can support you.
What we collect
| What | Examples | Where it comes from |
|---|---|---|
| Contact details | Name, phone number, email address | Our survey and checkout |
| Survey answers | Your medication stage, your shot day, what you find hardest, preferences for when Kaj reaches out | Our survey |
| Health information | Medication status, side effects, appetite, mood, energy, how you feel about your body, and any screening answers | Our survey and your messages with Kaj |
| Your messages | Everything you text Kaj, and everything Kaj texts you | Our texting service |
| Summaries | The weekly and monthly reflections Kaj writes about your journey | Created by us |
| Call recordings | Discovery calls on Zoom, recorded only with your permission | You, on the call |
| Payment details | Billing name and address, plan, payment status | Stripe. We never see or store your full card number. |
| Website data | Pages visited and device type, including through the Meta pixel on public pages | Your browser |
We collect survey answers from every woman who completes our discovery call, whether or not she becomes a member.
How we use it
- To coach you. Kaj uses what you share to know you, remember you, and respond to you.
- To keep you safe. If a message suggests you may be in crisis, we act on it. See Safety below.
- To improve Kaj. We study conversations and outcomes to make Kaj a better coach for every member.
- To run your membership. Billing, reminders about price changes, and support.
- To decide who joins. Survey and call answers help us choose members for each group.
- To learn and share what works. Long term research is part of membership. We study how women experience the changes that come with a GLP-1, using information with your name and contact details removed. We may share what we learn in articles, a book, interviews, or reports to clinics. We share only group findings, never your individual story. You agree to this use with a separate checkbox when you join.
Who can see it
Our team. Our founder, and a small number of people who help him, may read conversations. We read them for two reasons only: to check your safety and to improve Kaj's coaching. We hide names wherever we can.
Service providers. These companies help us run My Coach Kaj. They may only use your information to provide their service to us.
| Provider | What they do |
|---|---|
| Anthropic | The AI model Kaj uses to write replies |
| TextGrid | Sends and receives text messages |
| Supabase | Stores member records and messages |
| Railway | Runs our servers |
| Stripe | Processes payments |
| Resend | Sends email |
| Heyflow | Hosts our survey |
| Calendly and Zoom | Book and hold discovery calls |
The law. We share information if the law requires it, or to protect someone's life or safety.
What we never do
- We never sell your information.
- We never share your survey answers, messages, or health information with advertisers.
- We never share your mobile number or your consent to receive texts with any third party or affiliate for marketing or promotional purposes.
- We never share your name or your individual results with clinics, doctors, or partners.
Our public web pages use the Meta pixel, a small tracking tool from Meta. It tells Meta that someone visited a page, so our ads reach women who may want Kaj. It never runs on our survey, booking page, checkout, or emails. Your survey answers, messages, and health information never go to Meta or any advertiser.
We may share overall statistics with clinics and doctors to show how coaching helps. Those statistics combine many members. We never report on a group small enough to point to one person.
How long we keep it
| Information | While you are a member | After you leave |
|---|---|---|
| Your messages with Kaj | Kept, so Kaj remembers you | Deleted 12 months after you leave |
| Survey answers and summaries | Kept | Kept, with your name and phone number removed |
| Contact details | Kept | Removed from your survey answers and summaries |
| Payment records | Kept | Kept as long as tax law requires |
| Call recordings | Kept | Deleted 30 days after the call summary is written |
If you return within 12 months, Kaj still remembers your conversations.
If you complete our survey but do not become a member, we keep your answers while you are on our waitlist. If the next group opens and you do not join, we remove your name, phone number, and email within 60 days. Your remaining answers become anonymous statistics.
When we make information anonymous, we remove your name, phone number, and email, and we remove identifying details from anything you typed. We do not try to identify anyone from anonymous data.
Your choices and rights
- Stop texts. Reply STOP at any time. Texts stop right away. Stopping texts does not cancel billing. Use the billing link in any of our emails, or write to support.
- See your information. Ask for a copy of what we hold about you.
- Correct it. Ask us to fix anything that is wrong.
- Delete it. Ask us to delete your information. We delete your name, phone number, email, messages, and call recordings. We keep payment records only as long as tax law requires. Survey answers and summaries already stripped of your identity may remain in our research. If you ask us to remove those too, we will.
- Withdraw consent. You can withdraw your consent to our use of your health information at any time.
Write to support@mycoachkaj.com for any of these. We answer within 30 days.
To protect you, we confirm a request is yours by sending a code to the phone number on your account. If we deny a request, we tell you why. You can appeal by replying to that email, and we review it again.
Stopping texts, cancelling billing, and deleting your account are three separate steps. Doing one does not do the others.
Some states, including Washington, Nevada, and Connecticut, give you added rights over health information. We honor those rights wherever you live.
Safety and medical care
Kaj is a habits coach. Kaj is not a doctor, a therapist, or an emergency service. Kaj does not give medical advice. Questions about your medication or your dose belong with your prescriber.
If a message suggests you may be in crisis, our system responds automatically. Kaj sends you crisis resources right away, including the 988 Suicide and Crisis Lifeline, and our team receives an alert. Our team is not available around the clock, so we may not see an alert right away. We do not contact anyone on your behalf unless the law requires it or someone's life is in danger. If you are in danger, call 911.
Age, security, and changes
Age. My Coach Kaj is for adults 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone younger.
Security. We protect your information with access limits and encryption. No system is perfectly secure. If a breach affects you, we will tell you as the law requires.
Changes. If we change this policy in a way that affects you, we will email you before the change takes effect. The date at the top shows the latest version.
